This is another spot I fell in love with while cruising through here in 2005. I've returned a couple times and spent the night and morning. Last Chance Ranch is a very old ranch location, and this building and windmill still stand.

Be aware that this is back in Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge in NW Nevada; there's no paved roads here, and in fact the rough gravel road becomes a one-lane dirt track at a certain point (even though it has a highway number designation). A couple died out here several years back in the winter; it's very very remote country. The "town" of Vya doesn't exist; and there are no services or anything of any sort when you get back into this large area.
